AssiX       Netcap

AssiX login security requirement.

Given the sensitivity of the data handled by the AssiX Lifecycle Management system a strong user authentication process is in place:

To login on AssiX you need to be a registered user and have a user authentication certificate. The certificate has been given to you with your AssiX license and it is stored in the AssiX security key. A security driver needs to be installed for recognizing the user certificate stored in the key. This security driver can be downloaded/executed from  here.

After installing the security driver, the AssiX security key needs to be inserted in a usb port of your computer. These instructions will work for Internet Explorer browsers.

You can now proceed and login into the AssiX system by clicking on the menu option:
 AssiX login.

AssiX login for the FireFox browser. (Mozilla-compatible)

  • For the module filename, browse to %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\eTpkcs11.dll
  • Click on the "OK" button.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Security Devices Manager" window.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Settings" window.
  • Attach the AssiX security key in a free USB port.
  • Close and restart FireFox.
  • When opening the AssiX website the password for the AssiX security key will be required.
